Alumni Service Project |
|
On Saturday, November 8th during Homecoming
2008, alumni have the opportunity to serve
alongside current Lee University students in a
variety of local service projects including
feeding programs, nursing home visitations, and
helping Lee alumni who serve in benevolence or
service based ministries and organizations. A

Young Alumni Torch Society Networking Reception |
|
A new Homecoming event for young alumni who
graduated in the last 7 years will take place
Friday, November 7th, 6:00 p.m., Paul Conn
Student Union 3rd floor. The networking
reception is complimentary for Torch Society
members who have given a gift (of any amount) to
the Annual Alumni Fund for two consecutive
years. Torch Society members also receive an
exclusive pass for admission to all Homecoming

All former members of the Student Leadership
Council are invited to a reunion on Friday,
November 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Annex
Library. Come reconnect with old friends,

Flames and Lady Flames Soccer Reunion |
|
A new reunion for Homecoming 2008: All Flames
and Lady Flames soccer players and coaches are
invited to a reunion planned just for you,
November 7, 9:00 p.m., Centenary Room. Weekend
highlights including exciting soccer matches for
this year’s Flames and Lady Flames during the
SSAC first round tourney and alumni matches on
Saturday morning. Former players and coaches
will be introduced during the Homecoming
basketball game on Saturday afternoon. Contact

Drama Production |
|
A classic of the Greek stage, Euripides’
Trojan Women, tells the tale of the women of
Troy in the aftermath of the Trojan War. Hecuba,
the Queen of Troy, has lost all her sons in the
war over Helen and now must face the loss of her
country and her daughters. Written in 415 B.C.,
Trojan Women is a moving drama about the
ravages of war and resiliency of the spirit that
is still relevant in today’s world. Performances
on November 6, 7, and 8 at 7:30 p.m., and
November 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dixon Center.
Join all alumni and friends for a complimentary
dessert “mixer” at the Paul Conn Student Union following the
Saturday evening performance on November 8th.

Music Festival |
|
An enjoyable evening of vocal and instrumental
performances spotlighting Lee’s rich tradition
of musical talent. The Evangelistic Singers
celebrate a 40-year musical legacy of worship
during Homecoming 2008. The mass reunion choir
will be featured during Saturday evening’s Music
Festival. November 8, 7:00 p.m., Conn Center.
